Nix spoke about patch 7.39

Although Alexander “Nix” Levin liked the changes to the settings in patch 7.39 for Dota 2, the streamer sees this as proof that the developers do not understand the game itself, limiting themselves to only making serious changes to the graphics.

The content creator shared his opinion on Twitch.

“They've done a great job with the settings — that's a fact. This, by the way, is further proof that the new developers at Dota don't know what they're doing — they're just designers. All they've come up with in two years is a new graphics engine. They don't really understand anything about Dota.”

Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that the developers have added high-quality graphical changes in the new patch, but they are not doing a good job with the game's meta. Nevertheless, the content creator still noted the high quality of the changes to the settings interface.

“They just updated everything nicely, drew a couple of comics so that no questions would arise. But, in essence, they still don't understand the game. But okay, who knows, maybe in the future... Seriously, no kidding, they drew it beautifully and made it convenient. I think they deserve praise for that.”

The streamer also hinted at the lack of changes in patch 7.39, stating that when IceFrog worked on the game, such updates brought global changes.

"Just 7.39 — without a letter. Usually, as IceFrog did: if there is a letter, it means a minor patch with small changes like these, if there is a new number, it means global changes. Maybe I haven't read it all yet."

Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin said that in the new patch, the developers transferred many mechanics from League of Legends.
