Nix publicly apologized to the Dota 2 community: what happened

Alexander "Nix" Levin apologized to Dota 2 community and his fellow team member Arslan "xannii" Shadjanov for his toxicity during BetBoom Streamers Battle 7.

He made the apology using his popular Telegram channel.

“Sometimes I have things that overshadow me. I can be harsh and aggressive sometimes, which I later regret deeply. The bad toxic joke that slipped out was terrible, if we were looking at it from the outside. That’s why I immediately apologized”

Nix admitted that he cannot justify himself for being toxic and making an offensive joke towards Xannii but saw it fit to give reasons to Dota 2 community on the same. He added that he is withstanding this issue and acknowledges it; in an attempt to become a better player himself.

“I just wanted to say...anyone who knows me will tell you that at times I am really not myself. Sometimes, so to speak, many close people are hurt by accident, which I spent a long time working on”

He also clarified about him agreeing with xanni on everything and there really being no fight or animosity between them after their clash during BetBoom Streamers Battle 7.
