Nix names BetBoom Team's best player, the one who pulls the whole team together

Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that if it wasn't for Vitaly “Save-” Melnyk, BetBoom Team would have been one of the first to leave The International 2024 tournament. The content maker believes that the rest of the team hinges on the captain, and also notes the strong play on the Lion hero.

The streamer shared his respective opinion in a private Twitch broadcast.

“As usual, on his Lion Vitaly Melnyk shows the difference, handsome. The only person who plays on Lion, also so cool. People don't raid the hero. He just picks up that Lion in the draft and plays it himself. He's just a phenomenal player. Without him, BetBoom Team would be top 16, 100%. The whole team hinges on one man: he picks, he calls all the moves. That's the heart of this team, the most important player.”

After one of the weakest results in the group stage of The International 2024, the BetBoom Team lineup still managed to make it into the top 8 of the tournament. However, the match against Team Falcons, which the team lost 2 : 0, was the team's last match at the tournament. Commenting on the defeat, Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko suggested that some team’s players could be replaced.

Recall, Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek said that BetBoom Team had a real chance to beat Team Falcons because of a successful draft on the second map, and also explained why the team failed to use this opportunity.
