Nix Patch 7.39d

Alexander "Nix" Levin does not understand the point of patch 7.39d and believes that due to the drop in online in Dota 2, Valve started giving out free items in the game.

The streamer talked about this during a broadcast on Twitch:

"***, what's the joke? Like the online is dropping, and they decided to give out clothes for free, or what? In short, a thing to raise the online. But as if they could... In short, the heroes are not very popular - not everyone wants to grind a set on Vengeful Spirit and Witch Doctor. Legion Commander is a *** set, but not everyone plays it either"

Nix noted that Valve added "Quartero's Curios" to increase activity in Dota 2 due to free cosmetics. However, according to the streamer, the quality of the items leaves much to be desired. He believes that it would be better to launch a full-fledged event - this would increase interest in the game much more.

He was also surprised that there is less than a month left until The International 2025, and Valve still hasn’t released Compendium 2025. According to Nix, this mini-event could have been combined with an analogue of Battle Pass and launched in Dota 2 a long time ago.

Recall that Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen previously explained why Deadlock and other Valve games are dying.
