Famous streamer and content creator Alexander 'NIX' Levin expressed extremely negative comments towards the developers of Dota 2 because of the updated. He shared his emotions during his live stream.

I understand that it no longer provides attack speed and it's just like a... little shield or something. It gives attack speed, f*****s, hello? 400 HP, 7 armor, 70 attack speed, and 15 magic resistance. Can I get three Rapiers, two beef burgers grilled, special cheese sauce, pickles, salad, and onions, and let it cost 300 gold? What the f**k is this? Dev, are you crazy? Are you serious? You didn't even realize that you're playing all day long at position 5. It's completely abnormal.

In reality, many professional players have acknowledged the power of the new Solar Crest and the need for an immediate fix.

Solar Crest changes

• Recipe changed. Now requires Pavise (1400), Crown (450), Wind Lace (250) and a 600g recipe. Total cost increased from 2425 to 2700

• No longer provides +1.75 Mana Regen

• Now also provides +200 Health and +300 Mana

• Shine now additionally grants a 400 HP barrier. Can be applied on self but does not grant bonus armor in that case

• Shine can no longer be cast on enemies
