Nix explained why he left the Dota 2 pro scene and named those responsible

Alexander “Nix” Levin remarked that his departure from the Dota 2 professional scene was the result of some of his ex-teammates allegedly ganging up on him and the stress that he suffered from it.

Former esports athlete discussed these issues during his Twitch stream.

“It’s an insane level of stress that is not sustainable. you put your money hard-earned money into an investment vehicle with junkies. You’re playing chicken with the odds of whether a guy has done something stupid or not,” Levin said.

In Nix’s own words, having to deal with the extreme level of stress as a professional player was not worth staying in the Dota 2 scene. In addition, he candidly discussed how some of his teammates set him up by implying that a few of them had substance abuse issues, refraining from mentioning their names.

This is not the first time Levin, referred to as Nix on some platforms, talked about doing solo carries with some of the Dota 2 heroes.
