Alexander "Nix" Levin has slammed the transferral of Denis "Larl" Sigitov to Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov as a move that wouldn’t suit
Team Spirit.
The streamer and ex-pro gave his opinion while on a broadcast on Twitch:
“I believe that there is no sense in getting rid of a decent mid laner as Larl. One who's capable of creating much needed space for both Collapse and Yatoro. Replacing him with Satanic, who knows only how to AFK creep farm, and expecting him to be a great mid is not really sensible”
Nix hinted that this decision was reasonable since Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk was joining the team. He told the media that the management doesn’t want to let Satanic go to another team but also doesn’t want to play him which is why this decision is made.
“I’ve always respected Korb3n for his decisions, but this shuffle doesn’t sit well with me. I kind of understand why he went for it. Maybe Spirit didn’t want to let Satanic go elsewhere. If you’re bringing Yatoro back, you need to either sell Satanic or let him develop elsewhere. You can’t ruin a guy’s career and force him into matchmaking. He needs to play competitively and grow”
Nix noted that he expects dismal results where the replacement of Larl by Satanic takes place, and that his assumption is rather pessimistic even further. He was specific in conveying his thoughts regarding the achievement of the team in such a case:
“At the very least, they think that he can play up to mid and thus they wouldn’t need to lose him, and maybe he can fill that position up. I don’t like it. I don’t know… I’d be shocked if it works, but I strongly doubt it will”
Now, it is important to note that
Team Spirit has not announced any roster changes officially but there have been talks that Satanic is changing his position. The young carry has reportedly been playing mid in matchmaking with some reports stating that he has played mid 71 games over the last week.
