Nix criticized the Dota 2 event with Monster Hunter

Alexander “Nix” Levin said that Valve is simply reducing player dissatisfaction with the Dota 2 colaboration with Monster Hunter, but the developers are in no hurry to solve the game's main problems.

The streamer shared this opinion on Twitch.

“When there's an unsolvable problem, they throw the crowd a free burger. It's like companies where people work 15 hours a day and their rights aren't respected, but there's free cola. Valve isn't solving huge problems and is just throwing out skins. People reach the peak of their disappointment, and they're thrown a bone — that's all.”

Acording to Alexander “Nix” Levin, he is not oposed to the concept of the event itself, but believes that the developers could have gone beyond skins, making the collaboration more interesting and filled with unique content. Nevertheless, the streamer called the update in its current form a slap in the face to fans from the developers.

"I try to think bigger. I understand that the game isn't changing. Everything is already clear there. Even if I were to do similar collaborations with Monster Hunter, I would do everything differently. If there were a collaboration with custom locations and dragon boss kills, that would be cool. But when you're just thrown some skins...

I don't want to whine and be negative, but it's a slap in the face, as I understand it. I try to value myself and I wish the same for you. When the patch comes out, I'll be happy to play. Until then, I don't feel like it."

Earlier, Alexander ”Nix" Levin explained why he stopped watching Dota 2 tournaments.
