Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, the midlaner of
Team Liquid, revealed that he became a world champion thanks to learning from three legends of the pro scene: Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, Ludwig "Zai" Wåhlberg, and Lasse "Matumbaman" Urpalainen.
He shared this during an interview at BLAST TV.
"I didn’t really understand what it meant to be a professional player until I joined Team Secret. That transfer was a turning point in my career. I learned a lot not only from Puppey, but also from Zai and MATUMBAMAN, and everyone else. Thanks to them, I became a champion at The International"
According to him, it was the lessons from these three Dota 2 legends that helped him become one of the best midlaners in the world and win The International 2024. From his words, it’s clear that his time with
Team Secret was a crucial part of his career, during which he learned a great deal.
It’s also worth noting that earlier, Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov directly spoke about whether he considered Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk responsible for
Team Spirit problems.
