Nine wanted to refuse to play for Team Falcons: player's statement

During an interview at the Dota 2 tournament, Leon “Nine” Kirilin, the winner of The International 2022 admitted that he had initially thought of rejecting a proposal to play for Team Falcons at PGL Wallachia Season 1 because he considered it as a heavy responsibility.

This confession was made during an interview at the Dota 2 tournament.

“I was asked to stand in as they couldn’t find anyone else. At first, I wanted to refuse because I felt like the responsibility is too much. After all, Falcons are the most powerful team in the world”

According to this e-sportsman he would have declined any other team but something made him change his mind. As Nine pointed out his friends being on the roster and his desire to test himself for a possible full return to Dota-2 pro scene have played a crucial role in decision-making process. Eventually, he agreed on playing as a substitute.

Worth mentioning here is that earlier Nine stated about possibly returning fully into competitive plays for one of DotA 2 clubs
