Nigma Galaxy unexpectedly received a slot at a major tournament: what happened

Nigma Galaxy received a spot at PGL Wallachia Season 3 after Talon Esports exit the tournament.

This stragegy was published on the team’s official page X (formerly Twitter).

“We had to make the tough decision to withdraw from PGL Wallachia Season 3. This is to ensure that we’ll be fully present in ESL One Raleigh as well as PGL Wallachia Season 4. This PGL season requires a lot of visa applications for other mega tourneys”

Talon Esports said that this decision was made due to the requirement of obtaining American visas. In order to be able to attend ESL One Raleigh, the team chose to withdraw from PGL Wallachia Season 3. Thus, their slot was awarded to Nigma Galaxy. Many in social media, however, found this quite surprising, because in principle, BOOM Esports should have been awarded the place as they were second in the qualifiers.

Nigma Galaxy is yet to comment on this surprising turn of events, however, the team is already on the flyer as one of the participants for Dota 2 tournament.
