Nightfall Riyadh Masters 2025

Aurora carry Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko found himself in an unusual situation at Riyadh Masters 2025 — he was forbidden from playing in light-colored pants during tournament matches.

A segment of this discussion appeared in Aurora’s new YouTube vlog.

Off-camera: “Something funny happened with the pants, right?”

Kiyotaka: “That was Egor. But honestly, I didn’t know we had to wear black pants either.”

Nightfall: “I’m still going to insist on playing in these [light] pants.”

Off-camera: “No, no, you can’t, bro.”

Nightfall: “Why not?”

Off-camera: “In Saudi Arabia, men are not allowed to wear light-colored pants by law.”

Nightfall: “What? Why is this only coming up now? You can’t even see the pants.”

Off-camera: “You can. You lift your leg, Egor.”

Nightfall: “Alright, I just won’t lift it” (laughs).

The official regulations of Riyadh Masters 2025 — and other Esports World Cup events — do include a strict dress code. It states that players must wear long trousers, closed-toe shoes, and maintain uniform team attire. Headwear and any clothing with offensive symbols or logos of other organizations are prohibited.

Violating the dress code can result in a minimum fine of $250 or even disqualification from a match until the outfit is changed.

However, there is no specific mention of a ban on light-colored pants in the official documentation. This could possibly be an internal requirement by the event organizers or a cultural norm in the host country. So far, tournament representatives have not commented on the situation.

Earlier, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko made headlines with his honest remarks about PARIVISION current form at Riyadh Masters 2025.
