Yegor “Nightfall” Grigorenko stated that he decided to join
Aurora after leaving
Tundra Esports due to a lack of other options.
The player shared this in an interview with OFFSTAGE.
“I didn’t really have any options after Tundra. Things didn’t turn out very well there. I had to decide what to do: either sit out the entire season until The International and miss EWC and The International, or join Aurora. I just didn’t want to sit AFK. We put together a roster based on what appealed to us.
It seemed like we could compete for top spots with the world’s best teams. It just seemed like it would be a solid roster. The organization is already a nice bonus. It turned out that Aurora came along. It’s a good organization.”
According to a statement by Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko, the esports player was faced with a choice between waiting until the end of the season to join one of several organizations during the roster reshuffle period, or joining
Aurora. The player admitted that he didn’t want to be inactive, which is why he decided to join
Aurora and try to assemble a competitive roster.
As a reminder, Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov previously commented on
Aurora’s defeat in the DreamLeague Season 29 Grand Final.
