After Valve's wave of bans in Dota 2, a new record for the average public matchmaking rating (MMR) has been set, exceeding 12,000, according to data from the Stratz portal.
Notably, the high MMR in the match resulted from the participation of nine renowned players, a consequence of the ban on smurf accounts. Esports players are now compelled to play exclusively on their main accounts.

Among the most prominent players were Topson, Satanic, ATF, and Malr1ne, alongside Skiter, making it an impressive lineup. The only non-professional gamer in the match, going by the username "misconceptions," had a slightly lower rating than the others, suggesting that the record may soon be surpassed again.
It's worth noting that after the smurf ban, esports players shifted to playing on their main accounts in public matches, leading to unexpected outcomes for the players.
