New Meta Patch 7.41b: Best Heroes for Climbing MMR in Dota 2

The unexpected release of patch 7.41b has shaken up the Dota 2 meta, weakening some heroes and changing the top five most effective heroes for matchmaking.

Undisputed leader is Lycan, whose winrate jumped from 48.78% to 55.84%. Hero got small buffs, allowing him to sharply improve match performance.

Next is Chen, rising from 48.26% to 55.18%. Despite patch changes, hero stays strong and confidently holds place in meta.

Third spot — Invoker, efficiency increased from 46.54% to 52.25%. Even with minimal tweaks, character remains popular in games.

Phantom Assassin showed winrate growth from 46.12% to 50.24%, returning to popular picks, though pre-patch she was already stable peak.

Closing the five — Broodmother, winrate up from 48.74% to 52.16%. Hero steadily gains effectiveness, staying a strong option for matchmaking even after patch.
