Valve added the new hero Arjun to Dota 2

Valve added the new hero Arjun to the Dota 2 test servers, and the character might appear in the game already in patch 7.40.

This was reported by the Telegram channel Fay, refering to lines of code in the game.

“Hero API got updated, they added ‘arjun’ there.

The situation is interesting: there was the frog-bard, in the last update there were lore teasers of the barbarian Frug, and now they upload Arjun. Although of course it could be the same hero”

It’s noted that this approach can be considered quite strange, considering earlier info about Frug, who was supposed to be the new character. Nevertheless, the dataminer suggest that maybe this hero or Frug might appear in a new event already before the end of the year.

The dataminer mentions that this find gives few details about the new hero, but now at least his name is known. It’s stressed that the release date is unknown, but it could be connected with one of the big events that may appear in Dota 2 before the end of the year.
