David "Moo" Hull stated that Dota 2 is currently the only ranked game without seasonal updates, causing some players to soon reach the 20,000 MMR mark.
The corresponding statement was made by the former member of
Nouns on his personal Twitter account.
"The only ranked game that doesn't have seasonal resets, or decay, or anything of the sort. 20k mmr gamers soon!"
At the moment, several professional Dota 2 players have surpassed the 13,000 MMR mark. The first esports athlete to achieve this milestone was Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon. Among European Dota 2 players, the first to surpass this mark was Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko. Following suit with similar achievements were Alimzhan "watson" Islambeckov, Suliya "JaCkky" Khoomfetsavong, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan, Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov, and Ilya "Kiritych" Ulyanov.

It's worth noting that at the end of February,
Tundra Esports support player Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan surpassed the 13,000 MMR mark, becoming the eighth esports athlete in Dota 2 history to achieve such a feat.
