Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov,
Team Spirit support, made an appeal to Valve, asking for the return of the Battle Pass to Dota 2.
This request was made during an interview with the YouTube channel KD ALL IN.
"Bring back the Battle Pass, please," the two-time Dota 2 world champion briefly addressed Gabe Newell, the founder of Valve. It’s worth noting that many fans and esports players have repeatedly made this request to Dota 2 developers. The 2024 Compendium did not meet the expectations of the community, which is why players want the return of the Battle Pass with its cosmetic items.
However, the company had previously announced that it would no longer be releasing Battle Passes, and it remains unclear whether this decision will be reconsidered after The International 2024.
It’s also worth noting that
Team Spirit previously stated that this year’s The International will be the last major event in Dota 2 history, surpassing the Riyadh Masters 2024 in importance.
