Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov admitted that he only joined Aurora because Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko persuaded him to sign. Previously, he did not intend to play for
Aurora and had other offers on the table.
He talked about this during his interview at PGL Wallachia 3.
“It wasn't my initiative, it was Nightfall. I was really bored and I had other options. But I decided to compete with him. After being at home for six months, I needed to go somewhere and participate in tournaments"
Mira said that he was not planning to join
Aurora, but Nightfall was able to convince him to join the roster. The two time world champion said that he had other options, but decided to stick with his friend. He also confessed that he was exhausted from being at home and wanted to get back to playing Dota 2 professionally.
Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov provided similar details in the past claiming that Mira, for whatever reason, did not want to play for
Aurora and was looking at a different organization.
