Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov spoke about the problems in
Aurora, explaining that the players did not believe in the roster throughout the season and did not trust each other.
The two-time Dota 2 World Champion spoke about this in the club's YouTube vlog.
"It only got worse on the second map. Mental state let us down in decisive matches all year. Most of the time, everyone believed in themselves. Did everyone believe in the team? It's hard to say. More no than yes. Trust in each other was below average. I don't regret anything. I am grateful to my teammates for this season. It was not quite what I expected at the very beginning, but it was very instructive. I will do what I have to do - play Dota. Come what may"
Mira noted that in the most important matches, it was the mental state of the
Aurora players that let the team down. According to him, each e-sportsman believed in his own strength, but there was no faith in the team itself, moreover, there was no complete trust between the players during the season.
The champion admitted that he expected slightly different results from this Dota 2 season, but still thanked his teammates. Many fans perceived Mira's words as a farewell and believe that the player may soon announce his departure.
It is important to note that
Aurora had previously announced changes to the roster due to the results at The International 2025.
