Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov, former support for Team Spirit, stated that the Dota 2 pro scene remains quite lively and popular, with tournaments attracting tens of thousands of viewers. However, he acknowledged issues with stagnation in the game due to infrequent patch updates.

This statement was made during his Twitch stream.

"Really? I see a lot of people watching tournaments — 50-60 thousand. People aren't indifferent to tournaments; they find them interesting. So Dota will live on for a few more years. Everything seems okay with the game"

According to him, Dota 2 is still doing well, keeping the pro scene alive and active. The two-time world champion emphasized that tournaments draw a massive audience. However, Mira admitted that the game lacks dynamic development to keep players engaged. He believes Valve could address this with a series of smaller patches.

"Dota just gets boring — we need more patches. Once every two weeks or a month. Not a huge patch, but at least something small to change up the heroes, gameplay, maybe even the map, so there’s something new to explore. Since TI, nothing much has changed except Mirana and Windranger"

Earlier, the player mentioned that he had been invited to play in an upcoming Dota 2 tournament but declined for various reasons.
