Miposhka reveals details of his breakup with his girlfriend for the first time

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov said that he broke up with his ex-girlfriend Diana after winning The International 2023, but for a long time he couldn't decide whether to make this information public, which is why he even discussed the topic with a psychologist.

The former Team Spirit captain talked about this in an interview on YouTube.

"Diana and I have already broken up. It happened after our second victory at The International in 2023. I actually thought for a long time about whether to make this public. I even discussed it with our psychologist, Sanya. He said something simple: 'If you want to, do it; if you don't want to, don't.' In fact, that's how it is. But I couldn't find the answer within myself as to whether I wanted to, and I decided that I wouldn't. I can't say that I'm ready to reveal and share the events of my life right now. I want to maintain some intimacy in this regard. I want it to be something secret, purely yours."

According to the esports player, this was his first serious relationship, which lasted five years. Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov noted that they grew and developed together with Diana, which is why he has only fond memories of this relationship. Although the player admitted that he was the one who initiated the breakup, which hurt his ex-girlfriend's feelings, after their feelings cooled down, they were able to explain themselves to each other.

"For me, this was my first relationship, which began when I was 19 or 20 years old. And it lasted five years, we held out. We grew up together, matured as individuals, learned a lot from each other, and somehow explored the world together. Of course, there were different situations — both pleasant and unpleasant. But I don't regret anything; everything that happened was absolutely wonderful.

We broke up, perhaps not on the best of terms, but after some time, when we had moved on from everything, we wrote to each other. And she already understood why it happened—I was the one who initiated the breakup. Like anyone in a relationship, she didn't quite agree with it, she wanted to continue, and she didn't understand why. Maybe I didn't explain it well enough, or maybe she wasn't ready for it at the time. But after a while, we got in touch and reminisced fondly about what had happened. We both realized and understood how these things work. People come together and drift apart, it's absolutely normal, and we were no exception."
