MidOne spoke for the first time about his conflict with Puppey in Team Secret

Cheng “MidOne” Yek Nai said that he actually left Team Secret because of disagreements with Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, who, in his opinion, was leading the team in the wrong direction.

The famous esports player shared this in an interview with the OFFSTAGE portal.

“I think it was in Team Secret that I found and created the playstyle I was aiming for, I started to understand my role better and see the strong sides of every team member. And I learned to adapt — like water. Why did I leave? I was depressed and felt that I couldnt continue. I didnt see a future for the team because of disagreements with its captain”

According to him, he learned how to play well in a team and adapted to the style of his teammates, but in the end he saw that the team had no future. As he said, he and Puppey had different vision of the situation, which became the reason for his departure after ESL One Kuala Lumpur.

He did not specify which exact details caused the conflict, but decided to leave the Team Secret roster.
