Mike “MiCKe” Wu, the carry of
Team Liquid, said that if he does decide to leave the Dota 2 pro-scene and step away from the team, he would become a coach.
The world champion in Dota 2 talked about this during a podcast on the YouTube channel 23 Creative VN.
“Probably I’ll become a coach. Being a caster is hard. Yeah, an analyst is a good option, but coaching suits me better”
He noted that after finishing his career as a pro-player, he plans to become a mentor for one of the teams. According to him, he could also stay involved in Dota 2 as an analyst or even a caster, but there’s a nuance. Being a host is quite a tough job, analytics looks easier to the player, but he is more attracted to the possibility of being a coach.
But, nevertheless, the player didn’t clarify which exact tier-1 team he would like to coach.
It’s worth remmbering that earlier Valve gave a seasonal bonus to Dota 2 subscribers, which will be active until March 2026.
