Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg stated that he has always been certain of the failure of the
Team Falcons esports organization, and he currently sees no prospects for the team’s success on the CS2 pro scene.
The analyst shared this opinion on YouTube.
“The Falcons were doomed to fail from the very beginning. And it will stay that way for as long as they exist. They will forever remain a failure. I don’t see any chance of saving these guys.”
According to Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg, the analyst believes that
Team Falcons’ investors are not interested in developing their esports divisions, as he sees in the example of LIV Golf. He also believes that ESL, which is also run by investors from Saudi Arabia, has been operating at a loss for a long time. The analyst believes that
Team Falcons’ Counter-Strike 2 roster will remain a failed project until the organization shuts down.
“The Falcons will remain a failed project until the organization closes down. Because, looking at what’s happening with LIV Golf and how the sovereign wealth fund has already pulled out of that, I expect it will likely pull out of esports as well. I don’t think they’ll last here. As we know, ESL has been burning through money for a long time. It has been in the red as an organization practically the entire time.”
As a reminder, Nikola “Niko” Kovač previously spoke about Finn “Karrigan” Andersen’s influence on
Team Falcons’ training.
