Valve has been asked by Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, the
Team Spirit manager, to add in a surrender option for Dota 2.
He did this during one of his Twitch streams.
“When will Dota get the GG function? If I don’t want to play this game and lose 30 FPS and I just want to press GG. I’m a whiner, destructive behavior and all that”
Fans supported Korb3n’s idea as developers are seen to make players finish games they have already lost. Some even said that this takes away from their fun in playing the game.
Though there was also a reminder that the GG function is implemented into Dota 2 but only can be activated after 30 minutes of play if voted for by the entire team.
The captain of
Team Spirit earlier talked about how the team is doing and what patches do to them as well.
