The captain of Team Spirit spoke frankly about the team's condition

It is not the patch that is causing a series of failures for Team Spirit, but rather the lineup itself in which there seems to be something off, said Yaroslav «Miposhka» Naidyonov.

The professional gamer made this statement during his recent streaming session on Twitch.

“I’m not tired of Dota 2. The patch has become a bit boring, though. But even that you get used to. I don’t think about it. Our heroes aren’t in the meta? It’s not them, it’s us not being in the meta. Somewhere, we just can’t adapt properly. It's not about which patch it is, it's about who we are”

According to Miposhka himself, both he and his team have been tired of looking at this Dota 2 patch for a long time now — however, they’re aware that their poor performance doesn't depend on its state and attribute their low results to themselves as players instead; they plan to deal with this issue while boot camping.

“We’re gonna go boot camp soon. We’ll figure things out within the team. It’s always like that — work atmosphere... Right now we need to prepare for another tournament [and] we don’t know if it will be on the same patch or whatever but still... We will definitely prepare”

In Miposhka’s opinion, new patch 7.36 will most likely be released before the next tournament takes place; nevertheless he thinks players should start preparing right away too and hopes that they will get into better shape during boot camp as well.
