Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov,
Team Spirit manager, stated that he has also been affected by the wave of bans from Valve. The punishment was received by Vyacheslav "asdekor_r" Ignatiev, support for
Yellow Submarine — a team founded by Korb3n.
In his Telegram post, the
Team Spirit manager reacted to the strict decision made by Dota 2 developers.
"The current wave of bans, unfortunately, affects me since the player YES, asdekor got VAC banned for skin changer (No stats, only hats according to the player himself) In general, Valve has not yet explained the meaning of this status in Dota, and there are no statements from tournament operators"
Korb3n also stated that he considers the punishment for esports players to be too severe. In his opinion, even access to hidden statistics should not result in a permanent ban, let alone the use of skin changers.
"This is illogical and simply stupid. Certainly, I will be contacting Valve, but for now, I have nothing more to add"
Recall that Valve has blocked thousands of accounts and even imposed bans on numerous esports players who used Overplus, deeming it a violation of Dota 2 rules.
