Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak believes that the quality of matchmaking has greatly improved following the update to the ranking system in Dota 2.
The player made this statement on YouTube.
“The quality of public matches has definitely improved. You keep running into the same people who play in Immortal Draft. You don’t run into any trash players. The ideal solution would be to raise the maximum threshold to 10,000 MMR, but lower it to 8,000 for the 2,000 MMR range.”
According to Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, the quality of matchmaking is now much higher than it was before the MMR reset, since weak and unscrupulous players aren’t getting into matches. Nevertheless, the esports player did note a problem that arose after the update. Malr1ne pointed out that it has become more difficult to find teammates for matchmaking games, and that this problem could be solved by expanding the rating range for Immortal Draft mode.
As a reminder, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev previously commented on the changes to Dota 2 matchmaking following the update to the rating system.
