Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak thanked Valve for noticing the broken Sandblast facet of
Sand King and fixing it in patch 7.39e, despite the fact that this hero helped him win The International 2025.
The
Team Falcons mid laner wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“No matter how many opinions I heard about my Sand King, no one mentioned that Sandblast works on towers. And that, to be honest, was really broken. Valve noticed it — respect”
Malr1ne noted that many people talked about the need to nerf or buff the hero, but he had not heard that his aspect even worked on buildings. The pro player emphasized that this was indeed broken and needed to be fixed, admitting that he was pleasantly surprised by Valve's opinion.

As a reminder, a new meta had previously formed in Dota 2 after the release of patch 7.39e.
