Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, the mid laner for
Team Falcons, stated that the team played very poorly at BLAST Slam 1 and also acknowledged that there are many problems within the roster.
He shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel.
"We played terribly, a lot of problems. The tournament format was unique, and I didn't like it at all. The only thing I enjoyed was the first day, it was fun. Playing four BO1 matches was interesting, but the result was meaningless. We ended up in the negative. It's a bit absurd, but that's the format. I'm not complaining... well, I am, but who cares? See you at ESL One Bangkok 2024. We’ll try our best"
Malr1ne didn’t specify what exactly he meant by "problems," but it’s possible that the team is starting to get fatigued, as
Team Falcons have been actively competing in almost every major Dota 2 tournament.
Additionally, Malr1ne expressed dissatisfaction with the tournament format, saying that due to its unique structure, his team ended up in the negative. As a result,
Team Falcons achieved their worst performance in the history of the organization, finishing 7th-8th in the final standings of BLAST Slam 1.
