Malr1ne named the most overpowered hero in Dota 2 patch 7.36

According to Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, Templar Assassin, Shadow Fiend and Batrider are the overpowered characters in 7.36 patch. He believes that they were buffed too much in the recent update.

This was revealed in an interview with Alexey "STORM" Tumanov.

"I did not fancy everything I faced on pubs. There were some things that I didn’t like and then they brought them back. Templar Assassin is imbalanced for some reason. It blocks a million damage through refraction. In addition, it also deals one thousand damages. Shadow Fiend again slows down when he hits 30 shadow raze on the lane behind your back. Bat rider though is okay, I love playing it”

Refraction as performed by Templar Assassin has been claimed to be broken ability that not only blocks attacks of enemies but also inflicts huge amounts of subsequent damage.

It should be noted that his list of overpowered heroes coincides, to some extent, with Watson’s top heroes who are well-suited for Dota 2 performances because of their inherent abilities and characteristics.
