Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak stated that Team Falcons started losing tournaments because they have been playing together for a long time, which led to old problems coming back.

The team’s mid laner commented on the roster’s elimination from DreamLeague 27 in his Telegram channel

“Hi everyone we lost and got eliminated from DreamLeague S27. It was pretty painful, things haven’t been working out for us over the last month starting from that frustrating loss. It reminds me of last year, when we lost to Tundra in the final and then everything went downhill. This happens, we’ve been playing together for a long time. The same problems resurface — it’s normal nothing critical. I hope we’ll fix it. This year we managed to handle it. To be honest, I’d rather win The International than five so called Majors, that we won last year. I’m quite happy with this year, happy with the team”

Malr1ne also noted that the team’s form had already dropped at BLAST Slam 5, but they lost because of their own decisions. The mid laner believes this was influenced by a very short break, which eventually turned into problems.

“Overall because we lost to ourselves, we took a shorter break… it happens. So I’ll recharge a bit, rest and hopefully make myself look better in games”

The player is confident that a long rest will help the roster recover and show strong results again. Moreover, he admitted that he is still satisfied with the season overall, since they managed to win the world championship, which is more important than even three Majors.

It’s worth recalling that earlier Artour “Arteezy” Babaev criticized patch 7.40, pointing out Valve’s mistakes.
