Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak,
Team Falcons mid laner, called Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan and his performance at TI14 a clown show that was easy to beat.
The Dota 2 world champion talked about this during a stream.
“It would have been easier with PARIVISION because we at least understand their pattern and how they want to play. On the ‘four’ is a clown who does clown stuff, No[o]ne is their main... In short, we just understand what to pressure, but against Xtreme we had to play smart”
Malr1ne noted that this is not an insult to the player, but a statement of fact that 9Class focuses on distracting his opponents with his strange playing style. However, he clarified that if several heroes are banned,
PARIVISION support literally drops out of the match.
"It's not even an insult, it's a fact. His gameplay is, literally, clownish. He runs around, baits, wastes time, distracts, then dies from creeps — useful. To be honest, people figured out how to play against him. His gameplay only works on certain heroes, but he tries to play that way on every one. I can't buy BKB and Refresher Orb on Puck — it just won't work. Each hero has its own concept and is played differently, but he literally does the same thing. And so, when you ban 2-3 heroes from him, he drops out"
Mider noted that while this tactic worked for the player at first, teams have now figured out how he plays and learned how to easily counter him, which is what happened at The International 2025.
Earlier, Malr1n stated that he has absolutely no regrets for Ame, directly naming the reason.
