Drin “makazze” Shakiri stated that he feels as though he has managed to write his name into the history of the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene.
The player made this statement in an interview with HLTV.
"Honestly, it’s a very nice feeling, because it feels like I’m writing my name into history. Bad News Eagles did it before—they made history by qualifying for three Majors in a row. And now that I’ve won a Tier 1 tournament, it turns out I’m writing my own piece of history too. That’s why I feel really good.”
The player compared
Natus Vincere’s success to the early days of Bad News Eagles, who left their mark on the pro scene by qualifying for a major three times in a row. According to Drin “makazze” Shakiri, NAVI’s victory in the ESL Pro League 23 Grand Final marks the beginning of a successful career for the esports player.
As a reminder, Duncan “Thorin” Shields had previously expressed skepticism about
Natus Vincere’s victory in the ESL Pro League 23 Grand Final.
