Magician told about the transfer using an intermediary

During one of the transfers (No names), one club did not like our wording and they sent their agreement, which in turn we didn’t like because of the risks described in the post above. Then the second party offered to work through an Escrow agent. This is a kind of intermediary, a disinterested person who helps to complete the transaction.

An escrow agent is a natural or legal person who temporarily stores documents, money and other materials on behalf of the two parties who have entered into an agreement.

In our case, instead of the usual procedure for signing and exchanging documents, HR, the Buyer Club and the Player sent the documents to Escrow. Before that, we approved the order and protocol by which we conduct everything. As a result, after each step, Escrow confirms that the point has been completed, and we moved on to the next step, starting with the termination of the contract, and ending with sending money to our account. If any point is not fulfilled, the documents are destroyed and the contracts are invalid.

When we have confirmed the receipt of money, Escrow sends us the signed agreement, and the Buyer Club sends the agreement with the player, the transfer agreement, as well as the termination of the agreement with the Player on our side.

One of the interesting moments why we used their agreement and Escrow, but did not accept ours - in our agreements the Player also signs a document, and the Buyer Club did not want the player to know how much it was bought for due to their reasons.
