magician spoke about the costs of the bootcamp
Alexey «Magician» Slabukhin - General Director of the HellRaisers organization in his Telegram talked about the costs and other problems that the company faces when organizing a bootcamp for the team.
There are three main options for holding a bootcamp:

1. Go to a ready-made bootcamp.
+ Cheaper costs.
+ Less time required for preparation and maintenance.
- Not always suitable conditions (for example, location, PC, or food).
- It is necessary to reserve slots in advance.
- Placing several teams (some bases are designed for 2-3 teams).

2. Collect everything for the bootcamp yourself.
(transfer, PC, location, food, internet, personal expenses).
+ Individual and suitable conditions for everyone.
- Difficulty in preparation (for example, it's hard to find a location).
- More expensive than the previous version.

3. Have your own bootcamp base.
HellRaisers does not have a full-fledged one, so I am not talking about this option yet. We use our office sometimes for a bootcamp.

Costs
The two main cost items for a bootcamp are PC and venue. If there are no resources, then the bootcamp is quite expensive.
We count it
House rent - $150-300/day.
- 1 pc in a complete set - $50-90/day.
- Transfer - $300-1500. For example, as in our case, when players are from different cities and countries, and the bootcamp takes place in Kiev.
- Daily allowance (food and personal expenses) - up to $80 per day.

In total, a two-week bootcamp costs an average of $6500.
Naturally, few people will pay such numbers on a permanent basis, so many organizations have resources (PCs, venues, and sometimes full-fledged bootcamp bases).
In our case, of course, such amounts are not paid, since we have our own PCs + we have several locations, if we rent a house, and with a bootcamp at the office, we only need to pay for accommodation nearby, transfer and meals/expenses.

The necessary conditions
- Constant communication with a quality provider and Internet backup.
- Access to electricity (ideally a spare generator), or a spare place to play (this may apply to the internet).
These are pinpoint problems that can arise precisely on important games.
- Park/gym is essential but not always required.

Media
The work goes as follows - the guys call in to the bootcamp, and in 1-2 days we shoot all the material. If the bootcamp is long, then there may be more media days, it all depends on the players' schedule.
The rest of the time, the media team only shoots vlogs.
Unfortunately, a lot of what is happening remains behind the curtain of strict secrecy - we do not film the training process, classes with a psychologist and the preparation of new strategies.

Life, schedule and other situations at the bootcamp
- Many asked how the guys cope in everyday life if they spend a long time at the bootcamp. To be honest, everyday problems are rare in our case. We had a long bootcamp for more than 3 months with Dota, and some situations began to appear only after 3 months, and we just sent the guys home, as the opportunity arose.
- Even before arriving at the bootcamp, the schedule of trainings, free time, media, and work with a psychologist (individual and team) is approved. Everything is strictly according to him, and we do not deviate, since discipline is most important. The essence of the bootcamp is that the players are going to get in shape in a short period of time, to solve the internals that have appeared, and continue to play.
- Quite often, at our bootcamps, we conduct all sorts of activities, for example, go-karting or paintball. Sometimes we prepare this kind of activity for the guys to switch, in other cases it is done to create a cohesive team.
