Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov stated that he sees a lack of promising young players on the regional pro scene in the replacement of Zhou ‘Emo’ Yi with Kama “Moon” Boon Seng in the
Yakult Brothers Dota 2 lineup.
The caster made this statement on Telegram.
“The fact that Emo will replace Moon at DreamLeague 27 is, of course, significant. The man is 30 years old, and aparently there are no young talents in China at all.”
Zhou “Emo” will not be able to play in the DreamLeague Season 27 tournament for the
Yakult Brothers Dota 2 team. Instead, Kama “Moon” Boon Seng will play for the team as a stand-in. The championship will be held online from December 10 to 21.
Kam “Moon” Boon Seng has not played on the pro scene since May 2023 after leaving
Team SMG.
Earlier,
Nigma Galaxy anounced the return of Maroun “GH” Merhej to the Dota 2 roster.
