Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov said that Amer “Miracle” Al-Barkawi has returned to Dota 2, but he is no longer the legendary player he once was, and fans should not expect the same highlights from him.
The Dota 2 commentator wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“Miracle has returned to Dota.
At the moment he is in the top-100 of the ladder. Let me remind you that he took a break due to gastrointestinal problems caused by energy drinks.
I don’t share the hype around this. He is a legendary player, but his time has long passed. I think his level of play will be no higher than just good. All that’s left of the legendary Miracle is memories”
According to Maelstorm, the player has finally started playing matches again after a long break caused by health issues. He noted that the legendary carry is currently ranked in the top-100 of the Dota 2 ladder, but he does not believe Miracle will be able to return to his prime form.
Moreover, in his opinion, Miracle will no longer be able to prove himself on the pro scene, and fans should not expect the same level of skill or iconic highlights. At the same time,
Nigma Galaxy have not yet announced the player’s return to the roster, and Miracle himself has not commented on the situation.
