Maelstorm Speaks Out on Team Spirit's Dire Situation

Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov believes that Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster is currently in its worst position in the last 5 years.

“Spirit is in its worst form in 5 years. With a not-so-strong replacement. Panto is already being sent to play with Batuuk, which is causing a massive draft difference in both games. Add that to the coach and, as a result, the draft difference—and you get the result. We need to bring back Collapse and get back in form, improve everything, and only then see if it works. If not—change everything."

Acording to Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov, the team’s problems in recent tournaments may be linked to the replacement of Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov with Bogdan “Batuuk” Batyuk, as well as the coaching change, which has worsened the drafting situation. The commentator believes that Team Spirit needs to bring Collapse back into the team and fix the issues with roster preparation. However, if that doesn’t improve the situation, the esports organization will have to make significant changes.
