According to the statement of caster Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov, negotiations on Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko lasted until the 21st, and the player was actively interested in
Team Spirit, considering him as a replacement for Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk.
The corresponding information the commentator shared in his personal Telegram channel.
“Found information that the negotiations on Pure lasted until the 21st and he could be in Spirit! By the way, it was on the 21st that the information about the BB lineup as it is now appeared. So it all fits.”
However, the caster added that he can't give an exact reason why the move didn't happen, suggesting that the player could have been kept at
BetBoom Team because of his contract or he simply might not have suited
Team Spirit.
“It's interesting what came out in the end. Didn't go or wasn't let go? Or wasn't needed as much? It's very hard to know the truth, you have to literally get inside everyone's head.
Imagine the TS lineup with Ivan now? Well that's not going to happen, at least not yet.”
Nevertheless, after Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk's temporary retirement,
Team Spirit could well consider Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko as one of the strongest carrys in the region. Perhaps that is the reason why the official announcement of the two teams' lineups was delayed.
Earlier Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov told us why Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko did not stay in
Tundra Esports.
