Maelstorm named the most problematic player on BetBoom Team, who gives away victories to opponents

Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov asked to elect Gleb “Kiyotaka” Zyrianov as the most problematic player in BetBoom Team. The man is good mid, but in this particular moment, he is an obstacle for the squad, to say the least.

The Dota 2 commentator shared this opinion on his telegram channel.

“I see a lot of discussions about Kiyotaka. What is there to discuss? I remember someone in chat calling me out for labeling him as inconsistent. I admit, I shouldn't have said that. He is consistent – on being non-productive, in the sense of benefiting for the team, over agression. Consider Dialyrachyo of Gladiators; they tried to revolve around his chaos, and it worked out for them”

Maelstorm made it clear that a style of play that leans on aggression cannot be termed as bad because it can work (example it can be Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov), but there are major differences in this case with Kiyotaka. According to him, the mid player of BetBoom Team is too volatile and passive and even feeds the opponents some of the time during games.

"Feeding, pure and simple. No hate, just facts. He performs very well, everyone well – and then for some reason overextends and dies, gifting the enemy with 1k, 2k or even 3k gold – for what? There is no pressure there, there is no strategy behind it. Do you see it? Let me know because I DON’T"

Nevertheless, Maelstorm pointed out, BetBoom Team frequently wins battles when Kiyotaka blocks. Also he commended two players, Vitaliy “Save-” Melnik and Matvey “Miero” Vasyunin, for the effective work they do. Maelstorm said that Kiyotaka might not keep his place on the roster as a midlaner if he fails to fit in with the rest of the team, or make changes to his gameplay.

Earlier, it was reported that there was a dispute between Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko and Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek at the tournament which needed some mediation to solve it.
