Maelstorm named the likely winner of Riyadh Masters 2025

Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov has named PARIVISION as the top contenders to win the Riyadh Masters 2025 (EWC), which could cement their status as the strongest team in the Dota 2 pro scene.

The commentator shared this assessment in his Telegram channel:

"PARIVISION is the main favorite of the tournament. The strongest team of the year. Experience, skill, strategy, youth. This team has it all. Riyadh will be the biggest test of the year for them. Everything that came before it is important in its own way, but how important the last two tournaments are is the coolest. It's a chance for them to show that they're not just strong, but great. They can do it. The question is, will it work out? We will know the answer soon"

He emphasized that the team has what it takes to win and the roster has shown consistent results throughout the season. Maelstorm considers PARIVISION the main favorite, but sees Team Spirit as the main competitor. According to him, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk's team doesn't show the level that fans expect from them, but at Riyadh Masters 2025 they can produce prime form and surprise again.

The commentator also included BetBoom Team in the top 3 favorites, noting the tremendous progress of the squad. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the team's victories at the past tournaments “were blurred”, so he has little faith in their championship at EWC 2025, although he doesn't rule out such a scenario.
