Maelstorm commented on the matches on patch 7.40

Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov said that Dota 2 pro teams are still unable to adapt to the meta of the new patch 7.40, which leads to unstable results.

The commentator shared this opinion on Telegram.

"Crayfish in a fight

It's a fierce battle, the teams can't get used to it at all, which is why there are unreal swings everywhere."

Patch 7.40 for Dota 2 was released during the afternoon break after the group stage of the DreamLeague Season 27 tournament. However, one day was not enough for the teams to study all the changes and get used to the new meta before the start of the playoffs, which meant that the championship participants had to adapt in official matches.

Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin expressed his dissatisfaction with patch 7.40, stating that the changes to the game meta were insufficient.
