Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov explained that
Team Spirit made roster changes in CS2, believing that the previous lineup had reached the limit of its potential.
The Dota 2 commentator wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“I’m looking at the burning around the CS roster changes — it looks funny. Fans completely lost their minds. Because of this players are freaking out, some analysts are sharing their opinions, others are writing that those analysts are ****. You should live in a way that roster changes in your team are discussed like this. In my opinion everything is simple like 2x2.
The team wants to win, but doesn’t win and sees that it hit the ceiling. The team makes changes. That’s it. As I understand, for some people the pain from losing at the Major is special, so they are literally ready to lynch the players who played badly. What can you say. Since ancient times the crowd behaved like a bunch of idiots and made the worst decisions. Good thing now it’s on the internet”
Maelstorm noted that after the loss at the Major, the club decided the team had reached its ceiling and changes were needed. It is worth recalling that Leonid “Chopper” Vishnyakov and Ivan “Zweih” Gogin left the roster. Boris “Magixx” Vorobyov became the new captain, and Miroslav “Zont1x” Plakhotya also returned. According to the commentator the changes are aimed at improving results.
Earlier, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov named his strongest hero in Dota 2.
