M0NESY Speaks Out After Team Falcons' Elimination from IEM Rio

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov said he was disappointed with Team Falcons’ performance at the IEM Rio Counter-Strike 2 tournament, despite the team’s victory in the third-place match.

The player made this statement on YouTube.

“I have mixed feelings after the win. We lost yesterday, so we lost our chance at the trophy. In the end, we beat Furia in the third-place match, but my feelings are still mixed. What’s next? We’ll just go home and work to get better.

Even if it takes ten years, we’ll fight until the end. Hope dies last. We’ll try to get better every day and show a better performance in the playoffs compared to what we had at this tournament.”

According to Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, after losing the chance to play in the grand final, the victory over Furia didn’t make the situation much better. Nevertheless, the esports player noted that the team will continue to work on improving their preparation. The player hopes that at some point, his team will be able to achieve better results in tournament playoffs.
