Yaroslav "Limitless" Parshin stated that members of the former
Alliance Dota 2 roster were paid salaries starting from $10,000 USD. The esports athlete himself received half of the salary as he was a substitute player.
The corresponding statement was made by the former organization's offlaner during a personal broadcast on Twitch.
"I don't know if I can talk about it. I was a substitute, I was paid 50% of the salary. And the guys were getting $10k. In Europe, salaries are high. Especially since it was
Alliance. They had crazy sponsors."
Limitless also compared the salary in
Alliance with the income of
BetBoom Team members during their participation in TI. According to the esports athlete's statement, members of one of the top Eastern European teams received around $2,000, while
Alliance, who were playing in the lower division at the time, had salaries reaching $10,000 USD.
It's worth noting that earlier, well-known caster Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov shared an insider's view that
Alliance is actively working on forming a new Dota 2 roster.
