Legendary Puppey unexpectedly joined Virtus.pro: club statement

Klement “Puppey” Ivanov, a legend of the Dota 2 pro scene, has suddenly joined Virtus.pro as a stand-in and will play for the club at FISSURE Universe Episode 6.

This was announced on the team's official Telegram channel.

“We will play alongside Clement ‘Puppey’ Ivanov at FISSURE Universe Episode 6. Clement will temporarily replace Rein at the tournament and play for the Bears as a stand-in. Vladislav will return to the lineup in the near future”

It is noted that Rein will miss the tournament but will return to the lineup after it ends. At FISSURE Universe Episode 6, he will be replaced by the legendary support player, but this replacement is temporary, as the Team Secret player remains with the club.

Puppey himself has not yet commented on this unexpected replacement, but the player will play in a major Dota 2 tournament for the first time in a long time.
