Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, a legend of the pro scene, couldn't handle the task he set for himself, so he is deleting Dota 2 and returning to League of Legends.
He announced this during a stream on Twitch:
“We're finally going to play a real game, but there's a little 'but'.... Tomorrow I'll take the day off, and on the next stream we'll try LoL. I haven't played it since 2011. I hope it will be fun. I invite you to watch my journey in LoL. For now, I'm taking a little break from Dota 2 after so many hours. Of course, I'll be back to Dota later on, but I'm going to try League first”
Dendi failed to gain 1,000 MMR in 10 broadcasts, failing his own challenge. Although he managed to climb up the ladder from 2505 to 2073 places, he only earned 449 MMR. After that, he had to delete Dota 2 and is now switching to LoL, which he hasn't played in 14 years.
It's worth noting that this game is not entirely new to him - the Dota 2 pro legend has played about 2000 matches in League of Legends. Dendi emphasized that his departure from Dota 2 will be temporary, but for now he will focus on League of Legends.
Earlier, the legendary Clement “Puppey” Ivanov presented the new
Team Secret roster.
