Instead of a third season of Arcane based on League of Legends, a new series will be released

Despite the fact that there will be no third season of Arcane, the creators of the series have announced that another anime based on League of Legends will be produced by the studio Fortiche.

This was confirmed by Christian Linke, one of the creators of Arcane.

"Arcane is just the beginning of our broader storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio Fortiche. It is merely the first of many stories we want to tell in Runeterra"

Although there have been no official announcements yet, Linke confirmed that Arcane was just the first of many projects adapting the game from Riot Games. Furthermore, he stated that future projects would be released in partnership with Fortiche, the studio that created the original Arcane series.

This suggests that the upcoming series or films based on League of Legends will be graphically and narratively similar to the incredibly popular Arcane.

It is also possible that Riot Games may announce a new project related to League of Legends during the final part of the 2024 World Championship, the championship for LoL.
